When you visit our office for a routine appointment, we’ll not only clean your teeth, we’ll also inspect them for signs of the most common dental problems. We’ve even invested in a special tool known as DIAGNOdent to identify cavities while they’re still nearly invisible. We’ll also check your smile’s occlusion (how your teeth fit together) and complete an oral cancer screening. On top of this, we’ll collect digital X-rays and intraoral photos to get an even better idea of your particular needs. This way we can present you with the most personalized treatment plan possible.

The Importance of Dental Cleanings

Routine dental cleanings and exams are important for everyone over the age of four or five.  When you and your little one come to us for a cleaning, our gentle, compassionate hygienists will use their advanced tools to thoroughly remove plaque and tartar from your mouth. We’ll also look for signs of periodontal disease, tooth decay, and other common dental problems.

If we find anything we need to be concerned about, we can talk to you about changes in your homecare routine. Dr. Donnelly or Dr. Nomie may also recommend treatment with one of our restorative or cosmetic services.
